The Mayor of Thetford wears a chain of office when carrying out many official engagements. The chain is also worn on ceremonial occasions as part of the official dress. The ceremonial dress also includes other regalia.  The office of Mayor can be Male or Female - with either a Mayoress or Consort in support .

PROFILE

Married and lives on the Admirals Estate. He has two grown up daughters and three grandchildren all living in Thetford. He has been a Town Councillor for 4 years and is a Governor at the Admirals Junior School. After serving 26 years in the Royal Air Force he has put roots down in Thetford.
